Can friends come to visit me during my stay?
For reasons of public safety and to guarantee everyone's privacy, access to the property is strictly reserved exclusively for guests registered at the time of check-in. Any external guests must be authorized in advance by the management.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit is required, which will be fully refunded at the end of your stay, subject to an inspection of the accommodation's condition. We remind you that in case of early departure, no price reductions are provided.
Is it possible to organize parties or private events?
Yes, TerreMesu is wonderfully suited for special events. It is possible to organize them by agreeing on the arrangements and rates in advance, usually requiring the exclusive use of the entire property.
Services
Is linen included?
Bed linen and bath towels are available as an additional paid service (€20 per person per week). However, it is forbidden to use the house towels outside (at the beach or pool). It is possible to request extra changes of linen and additional cleaning during your stay for a specific supplement.
Is there a catering or food service?
TerreMesu does not offer a catering or meal service. Each accommodation is equipped with a fully fitted kitchen. We ask you to return the cooking area, dishes, and oven clean upon departure; otherwise, a supplement of €60 will be applied for the extra cleaning service.
How far are the nearest beaches?
We are in a strategic position: Feraxi beach is about a 10-minute drive or bike ride away. Costa Rei is 15 minutes away, while the splendid coves of Villasimius can be reached in about 20 to 30 minutes by car.
Sustainability and Cohabitation
Can I bring my pet?
Small and medium-sized dogs and cats are welcome, subject to confirmation during the booking phase! We ask you to keep them on a leash in the common areas and not to leave them alone in the house. A weekly supplement is required for the sanitization of the accommodation.
Are there quiet hours to respect?
To ensure deep regeneration for everyone, we ask you to avoid disturbing noises during the afternoon (from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM) and during the night (from 11:00 PM to 8:30 AM).
What are the rules for energy saving and safety?
To reduce environmental impact, we ask you to turn off lights and air conditioners when you are not in the house. To keep the house cool naturally, we recommend closing the shutters during the day and opening them in the evening. We also remind you that it is absolutely forbidden to smoke indoors and to light open flames (candles or mosquito coils) anywhere on the property.
How does waste sorting and recycling work?
TerreMesu loves the environment. You will find recycling calendars and dedicated bins in every house and in the parking area. The evening before collection, waste must be taken to the entrance gate. Organic waste, instead, must be disposed of in our composter (without bags). Attention: the final removal of garbage is the guest's responsibility; incorrect sorting will result in a €70 supplement.
We look forward to welcoming you!
- Check-in is scheduled between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM: to prepare ourselves in the best possible way, we kindly ask you to inform us of your arrival time, so we can dedicate the time and attention you deserve.
- Check-out is by 10:00 AM. If you wish to stay until 2:00 PM, whenever possible we will be happy to arrange this together (with a €60 supplement). The security deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay after a brief inspection of the house. In case of early departure, no refund is provided.
- The house is reserved for the people (and any pets) indicated at the time of booking. For safety reasons and out of respect for everyone, any external guests must always be agreed upon in advance.
- To ensure a serene and relaxing atmosphere for everyone, we ask you to respect the quiet hours from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 8:30 AM.
- TerreMesu is first and foremost a home, and we want it to remain welcoming for those who will arrive after you. We ask you not to use open flames (candles, mosquito coils, fires) and not to smoke indoors; outside you will find dedicated ashtrays.
- The house is well insulated: during the day it is preferable to keep windows and shutters closed, opening them in the evening to let fresh air in. We also ask you not to leave external doors open and to avoid consuming food in the bedrooms, so as not to attract insects.
- We are in the countryside, in a place we love deeply. For this reason, we ask for your careful attention to waste sorting, following the calendar you will find behind the living room door. Waste must be placed in the appropriate bins and taken near the gate the evening before collection. Organic waste goes in the composter (without bags). Careful management helps us preserve this corner of Sardinia and avoid municipal fines. In case of non-compliance, a €70 supplement is required.
- The pool is a space for relaxation and well-being, accessible from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM. We ask that you take a shower before entering, avoid diving, and do not bring toys, food, or objects into the water. Children under 12 must always be accompanied by an adult.
- Energy and small daily gestures: turning off lights and air conditioners when you go out is a simple gesture that helps us respect the environment and keep the house efficient and sustainable. Before departure, we ask you to leave the kitchen and dishes clean and put away, with the dishwasher empty (this service is not included in the final cleaning and costs €60).
- Wi-Fi is free and shared. Being in a rural area, the connection may not always be perfectly stable: we ask for responsible use to ensure a good experience for everyone.
- Your pet friends are welcome, by prior arrangement. We ask you to keep them with you, to collect any droppings, and not to let them into the bedrooms or leave them alone in the house, for everyone's peace of mind.
We wrote these guidelines with a simple spirit: to take care of TerreMesu together, so that it can remain an authentic, serene, and welcoming place for everyone 💛
